Two teens in custody after school break-in | News

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC)- Two teenagers were taken into custody early Thursday morning after being caught inside Martha Gaskins Middle School.
The incident began at 4:47 a.m. when school security cameras and motion sensors picked up activity at Martha Gaskins Middle School. School officials then notified Birmingham police.
When officers arrived, they blocked all entrances and exits and then discovered the two teens. FOX6 News is told one of the teens is a former student.
Officers then checked the school for damage and to see if any items was stolen. As of 8 a.m., no damage nor stolen items had been reported to FOX6 News.
School started on time.
