Take Two! Consignment Event looking for volunteers | Events

A major consignment sale featuring ladies' clothing, shoes, accessories and maternity wear from more than 100 consignors will take place in Hoover from April 5 through April 9. At the "Take Two! Consignment Event," name-brand items for students, moms, moms-to-be and career women in sizes ranging from 0-16 will be for sale. Prices for the items start at $3 and a special "designer room" will offer upscale, designer and boutique brands of clothing, shoes and purses.

The consignment sale will be held in the old Goody's store location next to the 2nd and Charles bookstore and across the street from the Riverchase Galleria. The exact address is 1705 Montgomery Hwy in Hoover, AL 35244.

The deadline to sign up as a consignor has already passed, but volunteers are still needed to help to tag items, set up, assist shoppers at the sale and sort unsold items after the sale ends. All volunteers will have the chance to shop at the consignment sale before anyone else at a preview sale Tuesday, April 5 from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

The consignment sale will be open to the public during the following times:

Wednesday, April 6: 9:30 a.m.-7 p.m.

Thursday, April 7: 10 a.m. -7 p.m.

Friday, April 8: 10 a.m.-7 p.m.

Saturday, April 9: 8 a.m.-1 p.m. (select items will be half-off)
